In North America, equine skijoring teams consist of a horse, a rider and a skier or snowboarder who is towed by a rope. While the rider controls the horse, the skier or snowboarder navigates a course of banked turns, jumps, and slalom gates while capturing rings and racing against the clock. The cleanest, fastest run wins.

SkijorCup brings the spirit of competition to skijoring races across North America through a unified, season-long points system and centralized media platform. Designed to legitimize and grow the sport, SkijorCup increases athlete recognition and prioritizes equine safety, while celebrating the communities, traditions, and culture. Serving as the sport’s central hub, SkijorCup tracks results, rankings, and season highlights across multiple events. By unifying competition across the season, SkijorCup strengthens the spirit of camaraderie rooted in the sport—amplifying visibility while honoring both seasoned champions and emerging talent. Unaffiliated with any governing association, SkijorCup exists to support and uplift the skijoring community as a whole while preserving its grassroots spirit and helping shape the future of the sport.

For the good of all involved.
